Absolutely loved it - beautifully crafted dishes and a really well thought out menu. Will definitely be back!

It's a rare and wonderful thing these days to find great flavour in every course when you eat out, even in some top restaurants... so my husband and I were delighted to not just have one good dish at Lichen but 5! Small plates that pack a huge punch and are generous enough that you don't feel short changed in any way. It's not the first time we have eaten in Lichen and to be honest we thought it was just good luck the first time we ate there. But every dish delivered on both occasions have been consistently good. Cask Smugglers would not be our first choice of places to eat and we stumbled upon Lichen quite by accident. We went back hoping it would be just as good and we weren't disappointed. We were pleasantly surprised that it was just as good the second time round. We are of the opinion that the quality of food here is so high that the chef or whoever is behind this should be looking to make a name for themselves... Cannot recommend enough, 5 stars to the chef, the concept and the execution....(and trust me we are very difficult to please!....)

What a great way to eat!!! It's all small, sharing type plates so you can try a wee bit of everything. Smashing negroni to wash it all down aswell. Lovely stuff. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
