We visited for a pre booked afternoon tea. I enjoyed it there was a good selection of food- I know a lot of people rave about their sausage rolls but I personally was not a fan, they were too greasy for me. What I didn’t like was the feeling of being rushed. We hadn’t had our afternoon tea long, when a gentleman came around with takeaway boxes. I asked why and if we had a time limit on our table- which he said no but they did have a wedding soon. We were not aware of this and I was made to feel rushed. I found the tulips to be disappointing.

Lovely morning out . Went for lunch. Ordered haddock chips and peas. Haddock was absolutely lovely. Great service from Scott.

Phoned and went on web page to book a table new years eve lunch time Anytime between 12.00 and upto 2pm.

Told fully booked. Hence we went for coffee to meet friends. Only to see reserved on many tables, some tables for 10 people with not one taken.

Young staff. Not a clue what was happening . After we got coffee still no .lunch time arrivals. We would have spent more money on 4 meals if they got there act in gear.

On asking if we could stay for a meal, at 12.30 they still said no reservations when we could see at least 7 tables for 4 available. Poor to say the least.

They should clear reserved if people are more than 15 minutes late.or do not take bookings at all. Very poor .
