Little Bakes & Blooms

Hi Michelle. No this year we didn’t take orders for Mother’s Day as there was a local festival on that weekend and we weren’t even sure we were going to have access to our driveway to enable deliveries due to possible road closures. We checked with our local council but they were unable to give us an exact answer. So to avoid stress and disappointment we decided we weren’t able to offer deliveries. So we decided to have our baked goods available as well so we could participate in the festival which creates a lot of extra work. My wife and I own and run our business, just the two of us, so there is only so much we can do to try and keep customers happy. It was actually a really successful weekend that people seemed to enjoy. So we ran our Mother’s Day differently this year for the above reasons, none of which I think were a joke.
