Food was great, but a few things really let it down as an experience. Dishes were slow to come out, we were pretty hungry for the first hour. The atmosphere is bright lights and very bare, which didn’t feel welcoming on a rainy evening. And they didn’t sell red wine by the glass, which meant we had to buy a (not cheap) bottle and take the rest home. I know it’s a fish restaurant but they also serve cheese so red wine isn’t an unusual request. This feels like a real oversight for a high end restaurant. Price per person: £100+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Another wonderful evening at the little fish market hove . This was our 3rd visit and we enjoyed it just as much as the previous two . The service as always impeccable, not intrusive at all , friendly, chilled and relaxed yet very attentive. Didn’t catch the name of the lady serving us but she was great . The food was phenomenal, each course carefully crafted individually , the flavours were on point and beautiful presented . We love the fact that the meal isn’t rushed and you have the table for the whole evening. Of course it’s not the cheapest meal but it’s worth every penny for the quality of ingredients and the amount of work that Duncan and his team put in every dish they serve . They have just won the best restaurant in Brighton award , very well deserved too! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had our 30th wedding anniversary here. Took four hours to serve things like bread and a soft boiled egg. Had the wine accompaniment which pushed the bill to £300.00 for 2. Left hungry and aching from the uncomfortable seating. Not even close to other quality taster menu restaurants.
