Had an excellent experience here this week. Everything was delicious. Staff was friendly. Some of the best pierogis I’ve had in a long time. I appreciated the menu being in Polish and English. Delicious cocktails and mocktails as well. Will go again! Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Amazing food, mediocre service, homey atmosphere. What we got: (Tasting Menu for 4) Pickled Vegetable Salads (Beet, Radish, and Mushroom). Herring 2x Keilbasa 3x Potato/Onion Pierogis 3x Ramp Pierogis 3x Brisket Pierogis. Chicken Cutlet. Rotisserie Pork. Pork Chop (special). Strawberry Pierogi. Chocolate Cheesecake Food:. Amazing, hands down some of the best tasting food I've had in Philly. I only had one complaint with all of the dishes which was the breton beans. It was a little salty and the beans were undercooked, I'm not sure if they used a salt preserved meat, and if they did it would be nice letting us know so we're prepared for a salty dish. The brisket pierogi was just too much meat for me too, and kind of dry on the inside, but the aioli with it came in clutch. Also because ramps are in season, they basically put it in everything... and it was still great. Standout dishes:. Beet salad. Herring. Potato/Onion Pierogis (by far the best pierogi). Chicken Cutlet (great sweet and savory balance with Mushroom Ketchup). Pork Chop (cooked perfectly) Service:. I wasn't very impressed by the service. It wasn't bad, but there were a few things I thought could've been better. I think the layout of the tasting menu could've been better. It would've been nice balance the meaty and hearty polish food with the pickled and vinegary food instead of plating all the salads first and then everything else. One other small thing was because we definitely don't know any polish food, the food runner needs to speak up and articulate what's on the plate. We asked multiple times to repeat what he was saying and elaborate what's on the dish. Another small thing, after so many dishes, the server never took away our dirty sharing plates for new ones between courses. And then for desert the food runner just put our spoons on a table, at least put a napkin under them. Atmosphere:. We had some babcias sitting next to us who were really loud, but after they left the room was mildly intimate and had a nice homey vibe. Price:. After drinks, chefs tasting menu, and taxes it was roughly ~$100/pp. I don't think the tasting is worth it for 4 people. Pierogi portions were smaller, and everything else was the same size. Really up to you. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Recommended dishes: Chicken Cutlet, Pickled Vegetable Salad, Pickled Herring Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian options, no labels Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking Parking options: Free street parking
