The place is rather dirty and sticky... the bartenders on the rooftop where we are seem bothered by everything.. the eggs Benedict was cold and not that great for the price... they keep the Bloody Mary mix is a 5 gallon bucket that they just dip the pitchers in, then they pour about a shot or 2 of vodka in the pitcher, so you’re really just drinking tomato juice (I stick to the tecata beer because it comes in a closed can so you know there is alcohol).. very slow service. There was 3 of us, and 2 of us were almost finished eating before our 3rd guest even got his food. I was excited about goin to this place because of the rooftop bar, but was madly disappointed. They need to just power wash the whole place, inside and out, and start all over. I believe COVID may have started here. It gets a 2 star just due to the fact I could get a buzz off of the tecate that was bottomless with the brunch

I love this place. The drinks are good and food is great. You can get amazing, fresh Afghan dishes here; it’s fantastic! The only thing that can use improvement is the service, but it’s usually very crowded so I’m not gonna deduct points.This place is super gay friendly, and a lot of my friends from abroad enjoy hanging out here. The owner is a nice person, too.

It's easy to hate on Local 16 but I've never had a bad time here. Come for brunch, or for a night of dancing upstairs. Downstairs isn't always full or energetic but that's probably cause their roof is great.
