Podía ser fabuloso pero no.Id con MUCHO cuidado.Excelente comida (productos modestos sublimados por un chef con talento) pero precios caros (menú de 90 y 130€ por platos que contienen. no nos engañemos, calamar, sardina y pollo) y una carta de vinos que multiplica por 3 y 4 el coste real de las botellas.Además, pésimo servicio gestión de reservas. En nuestro caso pedimos un servicio de 7 platos (tenemos la confirmación por mail) pero ellos nos sirvieron (y cobraron) el de 9. El error es nuestro por no contar los platos, eso es obvio. Aún así, pésimo servicio.Podía haber sido un restaurante inolvidable y se convirtió en un restaurante que querríamos olvidar.Todo muy mal gestionado.PD: Sharing personal information (not true, by the way) by the owners of the restaurant is another proof of how unprofessional are they. It is very sad since Local has a very fine chef. The reply from the manager is a fine example on how to not manage a customer problem: untrue, unprofessional, unpolite and on public.

Dear Mr Ripoll, Thank you very much for dining at Local. All our prices are very transparent and always available from the website, where you have made the reservation from. We only have two options for the tasting menu at dinner: 7 courses at 95 €, 9 courses at 130€. Also the wine list is available to download for everyone and it is always up to date. We send a reminder of the reservation also on the day before dining at Local, which shows the current menu (we only work with local seasonal ingredients and some variations may occur) All the Guests that arrive at Local are greeted, we offer the possibility to have aperitif before dinner, or to go straight to the table. Afterwards, we explain our philosophy and our menu. Of course you can select the preferred menu from the website, but of course Guests are free to change their mind should they wish to have 9 courses instead of 7, or 7 courses instead of 9. In this case, sir, after the explanation you have asked to have the 9 courses. I was removing your empty plates from the table after every course, and when I asked you how everything was you said “we eat in many restaurants in Europe, this is one the best”. At the moment of paying the bill, you showed me the confirmation email of your reservation, saying that you have previously booked the 7 courses…. I also told you that in case it was my misunderstanding that you asked for the 9 courses after I explained you the menu, I would have been very happy to amend the bill accordingly but you answered “no, it’s ok, I will pay for the bill”. I am really sorry that you left with a negative feeling about your experience at Local, we do hope that you will give us another opportunity to welcome you in the future.

An Extraordinary Lunch Experience at Ristorante Local We had the most amazing lunch at Ristorante Local in Venice. We chose the 7-course tasting menu with wine pairing, and it was truly unforgettable from start to finish. Each dish was creative, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor — a perfect balance of modern technique and Venetian tradition. The wine pairings were incredibly thoughtful and elevated every course. Alessandra was fantastic — warm, knowledgeable, and even recommended an extra pairing for our pre-dessert cheese selection, which ended up being one of our favorite moments. The entire experience lasted about three hours, but it never felt rushed or drawn out — just perfectly paced and immersive. We left absolutely glowing and couldn’t stop talking about it the rest of the day. A Michelin-star experience through and through. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
