A perfect spot to grab coffee before entering the forest for a day of adventures. The gal has made anything we've asked of her and they've all been good the actual coffee/espresso was tasty and not burnt. They have a points or rewards system via phone number. I'm not sure of their hours. If you drive by and they are open, stop. If they're closed, keep driving. Not really hard. Food: 5 Service: 5

I recently visited and I’m not typically a person that would leave a review BUT I feel like this needs to be addressed: first, there was NO menu, only a piece of paper taped to the window with random drinks with NO prices. Second, when I asked about the pricing and other drink options the girl at the window acted very snobby about telling me. Very cold interaction the entire time even when I tried to be friendly and make small talk. I guess “the locals” means unless you’re from there, you aren’t welcome. To top it off, I got the drink, left, and the lid wasn’t even on all the way also this was THE OWNER (I asked) that served me, so clearly not interested in branching outside of their regulars with the lack of effort she put into making. -disappointed traveler Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

There is nothing better than feeling the warm embrace of a new sunrise surrounding me on a brisk winter day. The absolute next best thing would be getting that morning cup of coffee from Myranda and Danielle at The Locals Coffee hut in Deary. They do it all from running a full-service business to the espresso machine. The friendly greetings, the aroma, and the coffee are all soothing and deliciously refreshing. The Locals Coffee is one of the few places to get Dillanos Roasters Coffee in the neighborhood. DCR coffee is rich, smooth, and flavorful. You can hardly tell it was espresso when compared to some of the chain stores that crank shots out like a slot machine (bitter, harsh, and often burnt tasting). If coffee is not your thing, The Locals Coffee has a grand assortment of other hot and cold beverages to choose from. Whether you are a local or just passing through, they got something for you—hey, that’s catchy! Go check them out! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
