We have had great experiences here before, and the food has always been very good, which is why last night was disappointing. I ordered a dish that I did not enjoy and chose to send it back. No big deal — I was happy to order something else and continue enjoying our meal. The manager came over to ask what was wrong, which I appreciated, but the interaction quickly became uncomfortable. When I explained that the dish just was not what I expected. I felt like I was questioned rather than heard. The manager continued to argue about the dish, explain that everything was homemade, and even suggested the issue was that our server was new and may not have explained it correctly. Several people at our table tried the dish to make sure it wasn’t just me, and agreed something was off. I appreciate a manager wanting to stand behind their food, but a customer should be able to provide honest feedback without feeling debated or dismissed. We still enjoyed other parts of our meal, but this experience left us disappointed. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

My fiancée and I had just gotten our marriage license and decided to take a random road and see where it led us to grab a bite to eat. We ended up coming across Localz Bistro, and it immediately caught our attention from the outside. Walking in, the atmosphere felt very homey and welcoming, and we were seated right away with no wait. Our waiter, Bryson, was absolutely amazing—super attentive, very knowledgeable about the menu, and consistently checked in on us and refilled our drinks without us ever needing to ask. I ordered the 16 oz steak, and it was honestly really good. The sauce was a little different than expected, but still very tasty. My fiancée got the Cajun Alfredo and absolutely loved it. To finish things off, we shared the New York cheesecake, and it was delicious. Overall, the food was great, the atmosphere was amazing, and Bryson’s customer service truly stood out. The rest of the staff was wonderful as well. We’re really glad we stumbled upon this place and will definitely be back. Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
