I regret to say that my visit to The Lodge Inn was an utter disappointment, mainly due to the landlady's appalling rudeness. From the get-go, she made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Her brusque manner and complete lack of courtesy were astonishing. The pub itself is mediocre at best, with uninspired decor and a lackluster ambiance. However, what really ruined the evening was the landlady's hostile attitude. She seemed irritated by simple requests, and her dismissive responses made it clear she had no interest in providing good service. Overall, The Lodge Inn is a place I would not recommend. The unfriendly and unprofessional behavior of the landlady overshadows any potential charm the pub might have. If you're looking for a pleasant pub experience, I suggest you find somewhere else. Every year on Music Festival Saturday we get groups in who have clearly been drinking all day but still think that they are fine. This group came in after the music festival had finished stinking of weed, swearing, Vaping in the pub. We were open from 12pm so do not welcome people who should know when it's time to go home at 9.30, they have done 2 reviews for the price of one. They are old enough to know better.
