Enjoyed the cosy place, friendly service and tasty food- had forshmak, potato deruny with mushrooms and chicken Kiev. The chef compliment was nice, too! Would love to come again - highly recommended

My husband and I visited Lokki whilst on holiday in Tallinn. We had a most delicious meal in a lovely setting with great service.My husband started with potato fritters with mushrooms and sour cream and I had borsch. We both had chicken kiev for our main course. The desserts sounded wonderful but we were so full we couldn't try any! Both the starters and main courses we ate were absolutely scrumptious. The restaurant also kindly gave us an amuse bouche of herring pate on rye with a shot of horseradish vodka. It was so very good!!I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant to anybody visiting Tallinn. The entrance to the restaurant makes it look really small but once you get inside it is spacious and airy and nicely designed. The service was spot on too, our waitress was friendly and very helpful.

I was close to giving it a three (consider it a 4.1):It offers your standard foods for the tourists who don't want to experiment, and a traditional Ukrainian food menu.I tried corn grits with beef as the other menu items I have tried before and thought it sounded interesting. It was okay, but I think maybe I should have ordered something else. The coffee wasn't great.Nice outdoor area. Good service. Reasonably priced. Above average food.
