Went for Our Anniversary Dinner . Service was amazing , food was divine , and the atmosphere was perfect . Owner of the place was very helpful and friendly , and even gave us a free cake slice on the house to celebrate our anniversary. Will definitely recommend and go there again . Our first date night in months and I'm so happy it was here! I have been wanting to try Turkish food for a while now and my fiance surprised me with a date at Lokkum. The service was amazing, the waiter was super friendly and super informed regarding the menu. Since I was after the authentic Turkish experience, he gave us great suggestions. I'm just sad I didn't get his name. The food... wow! I loved everything! We cleaned our plates! The presentation was beautiful and the taste was phenomenal! I'll definitely be back to try different things on the menu. It is reasonably priced and they are large portions. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and we had the privilege of sitting outside at what I called the corner table, getting some beautiful views of Norwood and the sunset. I'd been at this location before when it was the Food Museum restaurant so it was a lovely surprise to see the change. Will definitely be suggesting Lokkum to friends and family. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lokkum Turkish Restaurant in Norwood, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The menu is filled with authentic Turkish dishes, but the highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the lamb shank. It was cooked to perfection—tender, flavorful, and simply melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The owner was incredibly attentive and helpful, providing excellent recommendations and ensuring that we had everything we needed. This personal touch really made our dining experience stand out. I highly recommend Lokkum Turkish Restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy high-quality Turkish cuisine in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Five stars all the way!
