I was introduced to the spicy Chinese food by a very good Hunan restaurant in North York years ago. But since it closed also years ago, I haven't found a good one to match, other than another place in Hong Kong near when I used to live. When I returned to Toronto, it was natural for me to search for the food I liked, and it still took me years until this restaurant. I was excited to visit this place. However, the food, while priced good with a very generous portion, it was way too salty and oily. Remember that I used to eat salty and oily Hunan style or Sichuan style food, but this goes way overboard. Also, the naming of the food in the menu , along with the description in both Chinese or English does not clarify that some dishes are essentially the same with minor differences. So, I ended up other two dishes basically very similar, very salty and oily. There are many food items to choose from, but at the same time I found it lacking. It seems to lack some appetizers. The ambiance is good, and exciting with a very lively restaurant with many customers. Which I don't understand why so many customers at all, because the service is disappointing. Funny thing is about their service and their name. The restaurant name is "Long Time No See", and that was very much the same with their service. Their waiting stuffs often won't be available for a long time. I had to wait for 10 minutes to get my bill paid.
