ATMOSPHERE: If you're into the mood that was present in automats in the 1950's ... then you should like this place. In holding with that philosophy, all available food and drink choices were also clearly marked on signs that even the visually challenged among us were able to read. SERVICE: Rather distant, disconnected and in reality, also seemed automated. No real connection with customers, with the exception of one barista who was noted as being overtly, verbally aggressive. We hope they were just having a bad day ... Or given the focus on 'convivial evenings', more probably a late night the day before. FOOD: Correct us if we are wrong but on the days we visited (spring 2026) everything except the coffee appeared to have been cooked, prepped and portioned off site. No on-site responses to questions mitigated/conflicted with this observation. One of us found the coffee basically acceptable but not 'good'. The same can be said regarding the other breakfast or lunch items that we tried. Standard fare. Another two of us will be trying this place in the near future to confirm our previous observations ... or not ... Meal type: Brunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: Yes. Dietary restrictions: It depends on which ones.
