We arrived wet cold and bedraggled after being out visiting a museum. We decided to try and find a restaurant with vegetarian options and tested our luck at Lou's. It was full but we were able to sit on bar stools at what looked like a prior mantlepiece. We only had one course, mine was aubergine salad and my wife chose cauliflower miso salad. Both were outstanding in taste presentation and value. Beng cold we opted for peppermint tea, also good. A small cozy restaurant with a happy atmosphere, service was polite and attentive and tolerant of our linguistic inabilities. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Vegetarian options: worth the effort to seek out, Lou understands vegetables, unusual in our experience, and is innovative and presents the meal well.
