What a great surprise! Seeing where the restaurant is situated, we didn’t have high expectations. But both the kind service as well as the great food surprised us. Definitely highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €60–70

My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary, so I booked a table in L'ours rouge at 19:00. The atmosphere of the place was okay. Food was delicious, however, the host wasn't as friendly or chatty as she was to the other local customers. Language wasn't a problem because I speak French. Our entrées came at 20:00 and the main courses (after we had asked why is there a 2 hour delay) came a bit after 21:00. There was apparently a problem in the kitchen but honestly it looked so bad and was so akward to see an entire restaurant be given bread for 2 hours and we and the rest of the customers that night weren't smiling. It was a real shame because if the host had told us about the kitchen delay at the beginning, we would have been okay with the whole situation. It's not all about food but it's the overall experience that matters, and sadly this wasn't as positive as we thought it would be. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €70–80
