So when I moved here I was told by literally everybody in the neighborhood that it's not a welcoming spot for black, brown, or Latino ppl. Literally every single person I met from my baber, to the surrounding businesses on the same block across the street literally everyone. Being that I'm naive when it comes to racism I still went and enjoyed myself up until when I was confronted by a patron who clearly had to many drinks "hey nigger I'll beat you're nigger ass you and the security guard" , just unlike the security guard I took that very offensive , been a victim of violence , so I don't let threats of violence towards me just roll off esp when the person starts to jump around and throw their hands. I wasn't drunk and I'm fact have helped the bartenders their on more than one occasion putting my safety on the line because of security note being present and not wanting to see anything happen to the bartenders who has no control over the neighborhood reputation for their just trying to pay their bills as everyone else so unruly patrons are a regular there. So I'm saving all my black brown and Latino ppl, be cautious of attending their because the owner will try his best to ban you esp if you start to change the atomsphere to a more welcoming one. No one should be called out to fight becaus if their race, I guess that's not a issue to the owner I shoulda just let the guy kick my nigger ass.

If you like cheap alcohol and a nice space to chill in, then Lucky 7 is the place to be. They got sweet happy hour deals (ex. PBR and a shot for 5 ) and some pretty good bar food (even for a dive bar). I've been living in Jersey City for a few years, and this is the go-to spot to watch a game or just hang with friends. Don't let the outside fool you, the place has alot of character to it, with tons of decorations, a dart board, and even a jukebox if you wanted to sing some tunes (best nights are Fridays or Saturdays when everyone starts joining in). Even the bartenders and staff are the friendliest people! This place is a gem!
