First time eating at Lucrezia Trattoria in Culver and the service was excellent as well as the food. I had the spaghetti with meatballs and was a little apprehensive since the menu stated sauce is spicy, but the waitress assured me it was really just normal. Not spicy hot........it was very good! My date had the lasagna which also was quite good. Love their hot bread that they bring out before the meal. Highly recommend their cheesecake (with the raspberry pure'e) also! (4 stars on the atmosphere since it was quite loud in there and nothing really to absorb the sound). We will definitely go back. Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Went to Lucrezia’s in Culver and was kinda disappointed. We went on a Sunday and were the FIRST ones there! Employees gathered around the bar area and just seemed unwelcoming. We got seated quickly and ordered drinks quickly. Waitress seemed annoyed and short with us. The bus boy was great filling drinks quickly. Food came out and portions were good and tasted great. I order the lasagna and asked for a “side” of shrimp. The waitress asked if I wanted grilled shrimp and I said yes. I didn’t want cold shrimp on the side of my hot lasagna. Well waitress charged me DOUBLE and served me an appetizer of shrimp with sauce on it. That is not what I wanted but didn’t think anything of it until the check came and saw the almost $20 charge. When I asked about the confusion waitress blamed me and said that’s what you ordered. Service was lacking and VERY unwelcoming! Restaurant was empty and cozy. Started out to be a great meal but fell off with the service and the shrimp “confusion” . Guess we will try the Chesterton or Crown Point next time maybe! Really excited disappointed Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Regarding the shrimp, our understanding was that after discussing the order at the table, it was clarified that the grilled shrimp appetizer had been prepared and served, and the explanation was accepted at the time.
