Luke's Beef Stand absolutely exceeded my expectations! The beef was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, and the crispy bread made every bite even better. The French fries were the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. You can tell this is a family-owned and operated business that takes pride in serving quality food with great hospitality. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend stopping by if you're looking for an amazing beef sandwich and fresh fries! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I wanted to give Luke's a fair shot, but honestly, it missed the mark for me. The "onion rings" were basically half an onion cut into three pieces and fried with no seasoning whatsoever. So much for onion rings. The ranch tasted spoiled, which didn't help matters. I also tried the Italian sub, and I've honestly had better, more authentic-tasting subs from Subway. If you're looking for a solid Italian sandwich in Phoenix, I'd recommend Romanelli's on Dunlap Ave instead. The one bright spot was the fries. They were actually pretty good—nice, thick crinkle-cut fries cooked well. If I ever came back, it would probably be just for the fries. Maybe three orders: one plain, one chili cheese, and one loaded with both. Overall, not a place I'd rush back to, especially with better options available nearby. I've been enjoying the marvelous food of Luke's of Chicago now for over 25 years. No wonder they have received numerous prestigious awards for being "Best Of" in Arizona.
