Ordered the Thai chicken curry and rice which was dreadful - we were served undercooked pink chicken and told by the waiter once we pointed it out that it was “medium rare”??? Just goes to show that past the aesthetics and overpriced food the quality really is not there and neither are the food standards. Also it had maybe 6-7 cubes of chicken breast each being the size of a dice in TOTAL on the plate. We also got the chicken schnitzel which was decent so that’s why I’m not giving one star only. Still that could have been improved as there weren’t many noodles of the pasta on there so the ratio was off. Skip this place! Meal type: Lunch Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I recently visited Lunch Room Social Dining in Place Vendome mall because I wanted to try a new lunch spot. Based on the name “Lunch Room,” I expected a variety of lunch options. Unfortunately, the menu was quite limited. It mostly offered a few types of sweets and several dishes that all included eggs. There really weren’t any substantial lunch meals. In fact, I was surprised to find that I had to order something called a “Tunisian egg” just to get some protein. I thought it would be flavorful from the name, but it turned out to be just three sunny-side-up eggs in a tomato and oil-heavy sauce, without much flavor. The side I tried was garlic labneh with bread. The bread was nice, but overall, I wouldn’t really consider this a place for a proper lunch. I noticed other guests came in and left pretty quickly too. Maybe it’s a decent spot for a sweet and a coffee, but not for a meal. And on the positive side, the nice thing was that all the staff were welcoming and very helpful Meal type: Lunch Price per person: QAR 50–100 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
