Great place. Been there a few times for milkshakes and desserts. Will be back again. Oreo, coffee, Ferraro milkshakes were all delicious.

I would give this place less than 1 star if I could. Any place that tells their customers - we know better because we make the stuff we sell so don't complain - doesn't deserve to receive our custom and more importantly our hard earned money. We were unfortunate enough to be there last night. We had dinner at a local restaurant and decided to have dessert at a 'proper' place instead of the restaurant itself. Only issue was we chose this place for desserts!! I am not going to bore the readers with the details. For starters kids icecream machine was dispensing cream and not ice cream. Instead of saying it's not working they served it anyways. My kids had the first spoon from the ice cream and said it doesn't taste good. So we tried and for sure ice cream was tasting weird to say the least. Obviously I went up to the counter to tell them what had happened. Instead of rectifying the issue we were told "it's not off but you don't know the difference between machine made ice cream and Gelato". To add insult to injury they had put the same icecream in their so called speciality - Falooda! Which went back as soon as it made its way to our table. Don't know for sure but we think the owner of the place happened to be there. He was the most obnoxious store owner we have come across. It was apparently insulting for him to highlight the fact that the icecream he was selling was 'off'. It wasn't insulting for us at all and not unhealthy at all to eat icecream that has gone bad. Furthermore the guy went into a fit of rage and just started throwing racial abuse targeted at us. Anyway, one thing let to the other and the whole situation snowballed into a full fledged argument. All thanks to the owner and the staff. Worst part was we had 2 young kids with us who not only couldn't have ice cream but had to go through the ordeal for no fault of their own. Well if the owner ever reads this - I have been to Italy more than you can imagine. I have had real Gelato more than you can imagine. If you spent thousands of pounds learning how to make Gelato then I am sorry to say you must have been sleeping in the class when they were teaching how to make ice cream certainly when they were teaching customer service. I am afraid you wasted your money because they couldn't teach you how to be courteous. Ask for a refund and use that money to start another business where you don't have to face customers. I hope I never go back there again!
