Never order the choripán at Masa. Everything white you see on the bread is fat. It looks like potatoes, but it’s fat. $15 thrown in the trash. By the way, that is the actual size of the choripán. It seems extremely small to me. I cut open the chorizo because I felt like I was chewing on a lot of fat—and sure enough, it really is just fat. Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

Hi Adriana -Thank you for your feedback. Our house-made Colombian-style chorizo is handcrafted from pork shoulder and pork belly, which intentionally included a visible pieces of pork fat. This fat contributes to the flavor, texture and juiciness of the sausage and is a traditional component of many artisanal sausages. We understand that this may not be everyone’s preference, and we are sorry it wasn’t what you were expecting. We appreciate you giving it a try and sharing your experience.

The staff was so informative on gluten content and very helpful on preparation advice. Everything there aside from the bread they make the Cuban sandwich there is celiac safe/gluten free. The food though? Out of this world. I got the variety pack and a pack of the breakfast/sunrise empanadas to take home and each flavor was so rich and authentic. You can taste the love in every empanada. I love that the ingredients are listed on the bag and its all very simple, nothing artificial (not even the colors) and everything is perfectly spiced. Seriously can't say anything bad about these. Will be back in the future. Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: The veggie empanadas are incredible, the queso ones are also good. There are clear ingredients lists.

My husband & I spontaneously tried Masa Empanadas for the first time tonight and it did not disappoint!!! Matt helped us & was incredibly knowledgeable on everything & super accommodating! We tried all of them but the veggie empanada. They also have take & bake frozen empanadas! Here are my husband & I favorites in order from favorite to least favorite, but they were all AMAZING!! My husband’s: Colombian, Pablellón, Italiana, Sunrise, Queso, TCB Mine: Colombian, Italiana, Queso, Sunrise, TCB, Pabellón. Food: 5 Service: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: Menu is clearly marked for dietary needs/restrictions. Dietary restrictions: Entire menu is gluten free minus one sandwich which isn’t bc of the bread. Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot
