We traveled from Oxford to visit Mishtidesh Restaurant yesterday after seeing their dishes online. The food looked delicious in the photos, and we wanted to experience it ourselves. We were very pleased with our visit. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The dishes tasted just as good as they looked online. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. It was worth the trip from Oxford, and we would happily visit again.We recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I really enjoyed the food and service was excellent, I ordered the deshi roast chicken bhuna and aloo bortha for myself, I ate it with pilau rice but I probably should have got it with plain rice but still was good, the desi tea was tasty too, reasonably priced, the other items my family ordered was also good quality, loved the tarka dhaal. Highly recommended if you enjoy traditional bengali food, although they do have a large variety menu such as burgers, noodles and other non bengali dishes. Good for every taste bud. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Dietary restrictions: Halal

Absolutely loved Mishtidesh! We came here to celebrate my mum’s birthday, and the staff were incredibly helpful with putting up the decorations. Thank you to Mishtidesh for making the occasion so special. The food was spot on — I didn’t even need to add extra salt, which says a lot!
