Lovely, cozy place for coffee and/or lunch. Mittsu is a kind and warm host running the place as a one-woman show. She gave each of us a hot cup of tea once we were seated. The decor and overall vibes of the place made us feel like we were being welcomed into someone’s home to have lunch with them, setting the stage for a comfortable and chill experience. The food was simply delectable, with true warmth in each and every bite. Each dish felt very intentionally constructed, with local ingredients thoughtfully and skillfully combined to highlight each of their unique strengths. I would highly recommend this cafe to anyone who visits Lake Toya at any time of year. Thank you Mittsu for your hard work and dedication. Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
