Un gran lugar para almorzar. La masa de la pizza es delgada y de muy buen sabor. Puedes agregar tantos ingredientes como desees y el precio es el mismo.La limonada es genial!

Let me start by saying—yeah, this is a long one. I had time today, and honestly this has been building for years. This isn’t just a review, it’s a slow breakup story. MOD Pizza and I go way back. Like “once-a-week, don’t-even-ask-what-I-want” type of back. They started in 2008, came to Arizona in 2014, and not long after that one opened in Ahwatukee. That’s where I got hooked. I was going at least once a week—shoutout to my parents for funding what was basically my pizza era. Even when I got older and had to start paying for it myself (pain), I stayed loyal. MOD was my spot. Then the pandemic hit, and things started to feel off. At some point I tried the Discovery location and I swear it was just better. Like noticeably better. So I started driving out of my way to go there, and for years I kept doing that. That’s how much I believed in this place. Back then, a pizza was just under $10. Not ideal for a college student, but worth it. Then the slow creep started: $10 $11 $12 $13 and now we’re over $14. And look—I get it. Everything’s expensive now. I’m not confused about why. But the value? That’s where things fell apart. We’re talking about a 10-inch pizza that somehow feels smaller than it used to. I can’t prove it, but spiritually that pizza has been shrinking. So I started going less. Still popped in here and there for nostalgia until today. I walk in—vibes are off immediately. Quiet, low music, barely anyone there. Feels less like a pizza spot and more like a waiting room. Then I get to the line and yeah, we’ve got a situation. Skimping. Serious skimping. One of my toppings is feta. Feta is not subtle. It’s chunky, it’s loud, it makes itself known. So when you sprinkle it on my pizza and it looks like you just waved the container over it? Yeah, no. I had to ask for extra three times just to get a normal amount. And I’m not even loading my pizza like that. This should’ve been easy. She’s rushing me through, barely asking about cheeses before trying to move me along. And the energy? Just not there. Not rude, just completely checked out—like I was interrupting her day by ordering food at a place whose entire purpose is to serve food. And that’s the thing—when you’re charging over $14 for a 10-inch pizza, skimping on toppings, and the place already feels kind of lifeless you have to make up for it somewhere. Service, personality, something. Because right now it’s expensive, under-portioned, and low energy. That’s a rough trio. By the time I got to the end of the line, I already knew this wasn’t going to hit the same. And yeah—the pizza confirmed it. It just wasn’t that good. And I’ve been getting the exact same order for over a decade, so if it suddenly tastes off, something changed. Ingredients, portions, care level all of it feels like it slipped. Zooming out, I honestly don’t know how this model holds up anymore. Unlimited toppings used to feel like the whole appeal. Now it feels like they’re trying to quietly walk that back while still raising prices. Add in the fact that it just doesn’t taste as good? That’s a problem. So yeah I think this was my last trip. It’s weird breaking up with a place you’ve been loyal to for years, but that’s what this feels like. What used to be a go-to comfort spot is now overpriced, inconsistent, and kind of disappointing. I’ll always respect what MOD used to be. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
