MYLE is one of the best restaurants in Bern, if not the best. We had the 5-course Hokkaido tasting menu, and it was superb. Chef Markus Arnold really captured the essence of Hokkaido. The staff was excellent and very amiable. Every dish was amazing and the wine/cocktail options were perfectly matched. The chef came to our table and greeted us, which was special and appreciated. I visited the restaurant during the Hokkaido Menu event. The fish and seafood were exceptionally fresh and delicious, while the service was both warm and highly professional, with the staff effortlessly adapting their language to each guest. The ambiance was elegantly designed to reflect the theme. I was particularly impressed by the diversity of tastes across the selection of dishes and by the meticulous control of seasoning, temperature, and texture. The desserts were thoughtfully restrained in their use of sugar, achieving a refined sweetness that never masked the more delicate notes of the other ingredients. The non-alcoholic drink pairing, specially created by Markus Arnold, complemented the menu perfectly. Thank you for such a unique gastronomic experience! Maybe the best restaurant in Bern, right now. Had the Hokkaido cuisine dinner. If you like Japanese food, you cannot miss this experience. We are restricted to Pescetarian diet, and they elegantly subbed the meat for an amazing eggplant dish. If I worked at Michelin, I’d give them a solid **.
