I had a chunky steak pie(i think), it was nice but the bits on top had gone very hard and i nearly chipped my tooth on them so you need to sort that out. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The bits on top are our flavour markings for the pies, but they definitely shouldn’t be hard, so we apologise for that experience. We’ll pass this on to the baking team and keep an eye on it moving forward. Glad to hear you still enjoyed the pie overall and hope we can do better for you next time

Macintyre Hot Bread Shop Inverell An unassuming country bakery in Inverell that has probably not won or even entered a pie competition. Just good, honest, pies for a good price. I grabbed a Steak Dianne pie for lunch when I passed through a couple of weeks ago and it was very tasty. It was only a small pie but the pastry was well built and cooked to perfection and for about $6 could not complain. Would definitely eat again. 8/10 for flavour, 7/10 for pastry, 6/10 for value. A solid 7/10 pie.
