The restaurant is now closed. No longer open. It used to be a great dessert place and the food, although overpriced, was passable.

This place is so gross! We went here on graduation weekend, hoping it would be good since everything else in town was packed. My sea bass came with ice cold rice, my soba noodle salad had no sort of dressing, and my cake taste like it was two months old! My boyfriend had the same awful experience! Stay away. I hear the owners are the same as Just a Taste and Mia! Go there!

Well, they need to do something about the service. We were four and Went there yesterday evening. The host was friendly and efficient and we were seated right away but the two empty tables next to us were covered with dirty dishes for half hour at the very least. We asked the server to please do something about it. She replied that they were understaffed and she is busy right now. She did clean it within minutes but did we really have to point this out? On top of that the server confused the order, not bringing our requested drinks and a wrong appetizer. We did not point it out, it made no sense. All of us have lived in Ithaca all our adult lives. We remember when Madeline's just opened and it was a wonderful place, unique and attractive. Now it's tired and in need or renovation and update. That should include not only the physical surroundings but change of attitude as well.
