Comida buena. Servicio algo lento: pedimos platos para compartir y los sacaron de uno en uno. Íbamos con oferta de el tenedor, y no es correcta, tuvimos que pedir un postre por persona.

My husband and I stopped in for a low key lunch during our shopping day in downtown Kristiansand. We were glad to have some small menu options (we got 2 Meny A meals and I got a bowl of miso soup) and to have food we were familiar with. The restaurant is small-ish inside, and the staff is friendly enough. The nigiri we ordered had too much rice in it, and the rice was a bit too touch and dry, but the fish was fresh and tasty. Mai Oishi Sushi isn't anything to write home about, but it you're looking for something fresh, simple, and light, they'll satisfy that craving. They have a bathroom located at the back of the restaurant, at the bottom of the stairs. The restaurant was playing American hip hop/pop music from about 5 years ago, which made me smile.
