A quaint family owned and operated shop specializing in yakiniku, which also serves ramen, donburis, and meal sets. The various offerings of yakiniku are well seasoned and cut ideally for the grill. Stand-out cuts were the galbi, beef tongue, and sagari (beef hanging tender). The sagari has a deep beef flavour, nice tender chew, and is juicy without being greasy. The beef tongue is excellent and is accompanied by a seasoning salt and lemon that seals the deal. The tare is house made and is incredibly tasty; putting this sauce on anything would make it delicious - an intricate balance of savoury, salty, sweetness, and acidity.
