Don't know if we court these guy on an off night but frankly we found the food terrible. My wife and I don’t eat a great deal of take away food but having received a menu this week through the door we thought we would give the Mandarin a try. We ordered a delivery and the guy couldn’t tell us how much it would be, when the food arrived it was only just warm. I have never had salt and pepper chips as bland in my life also salt and pepper chicken was rubbery and again tasteless. Will not be ordering again but as a tip please try Ossett Chinese on Dewsbury road. Far nicer and considerable cheaper. Food: 1 Service: 1 Order type: Takeaway Price per person: £40–50

We order regularly from the Mandarin. Always on time, always polite and helpful and always delicious food.

Placed an order tonight with some friends. We used to travel miles to get food from here but tonight’s was absolutely disgusting. Spent nearly £50 on what was poor quality food. The crispy shredded beef was vile. All the dishes other than the crispy seaweed was substandard. Watery, overcooked or re cooked. Will definitely
not be ordering from here again.
