Genuinely the worst Chinese I’ve ever had, I got salt and pepper chips and chicken, the food was inedible, tasted purely of sugar and nothing else, was so inedible to the point I ended up being sick because of how sweet it was. I’ve had Chinese from many places but never have I had one that was so sweet, honestly tasted like it was dipped in sugar and then covered in maple syrup. Also I’ve seen other reviews saying this is the worst Chinese ever with the owners saying “we never get reviews like this” if that’s so why is over half your reviews 1 star. I hope they change their recipe as the food was just revolting Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Order from this place all the time when we fancy a Chinese and normally it never lets us down, however today my order is now an hour late, i even preordered it so it comes for 7-7:30 still nothing, its a bit shit considering we preordered and we usually get our ordered fairly quickly, food is normally really nice and warm but i have a feeling with it being an hour late that won’t be our experience today. Shame on the delivery service esp with a preorder, understandable if it was ordered willy nilly but come on now a few hours in advance should be enough time to prepare. It’s a shame Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Ordered at 19:11. Didn't arrive until 20:40 and it was stone cold. I had to bin the whole order. I called up to complain and find out how to get a refund and was told that the food I ordered should all be "Not too hot" as it was all starters that were ordered, which isn't true anyway as I ordered chicken in plum sauce. The sweet and sour sauce had congealed and gone like jelly and everything in the order was cold. When I again asked how to get a refund I was told to try on the website. I have since been on the website and cannot find anywhere to get a refund or complain. I won't be using Taste of China again, very disappointed, hungry and over £20 down the drain. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30
