I ordered the vegetarian tofu dish, but unfortunately it was far too sweet for my taste. I also ordered an extra rice, as the portion included with the meal was very small compared to other Hakka restaurants. To make matters worse, the rice served was basmati rice. In my experience, Hakka restaurants typically serve Thai or jasmine rice, which pairs much better with Hakka dishes. Overall, I was quite disappointed with the food quality, portion size, and the overall experience. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Order type: Takeaway Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30

had a great experience at Mela kitchen .The service was excellent—quick, attentive, and very welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the visit feel comfortable from start to finish. The food carried that perfect blend of Hakka and Desi flavors, fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Overall, it’s a place worth visiting if you enjoy tasty food paired with genuinely great service.
