I recently visited this restaurant and honestly had such a lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted genuinely authentic. You can tell that a lot of care goes into every dish, from the quality of the ingredients to the way everything is prepared and presented. The pasta was some of the best I've had outside of Italy, and every bite was full of flavour. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the passion for good Italian food. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the whole evening felt special from start to finish. It's not often you find a restaurant that gets everything right—great food, wonderful service, and a warm, family-style atmosphere. I left already looking forward to my next visit and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a true taste of Italy. We visited Marechiaro Restaurant for our first time yesterday evening and experienced a very warm and friendly welcome from the owner Jasmine and her Sister. The menu included several of the families’ favourite homemade dishes. The Tarallini snacks brought to our table were delicious and we chose Aroncini Gorgonzola and Burrata purgatorio as our starters. Both of these were beautifully cooked with delicious fresh ingredients. For our main course we ordered Lasagna and Linguine Frutti di mare they were both full of flavour and it was one of the very best lasagnes we had ever tasted. The portions were generous. We loved the desserts, which were a Delizia al limona and a Rum baba. This led to us ordering a third Banoffee dessert which was the Chef’s special for that evening. Upon leaving we had a conversation with the owners who told us that they had only been open for five weeks we would never have known because our evening ran so smoothly. The service was attentive, friendly, yet very professional. We will definitely be returning to this excellent restaurant overlooking the Marina of Ramsgate.
