3.7 stars. Stayed overnight here at the Hyatt Regency Austin for Mother’s Day. We booked two rooms for our party of five which included breakfast. Nice breakfast brunch with made to order omelette station, the usual hot items (eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, potatoes), bread station, oatmeal, baked goodies, and yogurt too. Server was friendly and attentive. Fortunately, our breakfasts were covered b/c of Globalist status. Clean, spacious and open seating too. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Buffet was good and the omelets were amazing. The food was good. I'm not sure it was worth $41.60 after tax and mandatory 18% gratuity. My coffee service was slow as well. Sat at the table for about 10 minutes before someone saw me. After they knew I was here, the coffee flowed.... This is a good place to eat if you have the money to spend $40 on an Omelette and some pastries. Unfortunrly unless you want to walk, your choices are limited if staying in the hotel. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Cypress Grove restaurant is located in the Hyatt regency Austin on the 2nd floor. I arrived early a bit before 7am on a Sunday and they were still setting up. Nevertheless they sat me down and allowed me to begin the breakfast buffet service. I was the only guest at this time and had the distinct pleasure of watching the morning huddle. It is clear that there is a great deal of care that goes into the operation of this restaurant and that they value guest feedback. Tamara was the team member that helped me and she was delightful, friendly and accommodating to my child's needs. The service is excellent and above and beyond what I would expect for a buffet breakfast and as a globalist I've gone to many properties and have had many hotel breakfasts. This was one of the best. In terms of the food, They have made to order pancakes and omelets. I love that they added regional selections like Biscuits & gravy and chorizo hash. Overall, I would highly recommend Cypress Grove. They have a level of care and detail that is rarely found today. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
