If I could give 0 stars for service I would. Easily one of the most unpleasant coffee shop experiences I’ve ever had. The staff at Alaska Coffee were incredibly rude — not just inattentive, but actually hostile. It felt like they had no interest in offering decent service or basic respect. This goes for 1 older lady employee and the cook in the back. The rest of the workers were very nice. We waited over 30 minutes for our food (while multiple people who had been behind us received their orders), and when we asked about the delay, the older lady at the counter snapped that if we hadn’t ordered such a big bag of food, it would’ve been faster. Seriously? Blaming the customer for ordering from your own menu? Meanwhile, the cook in the back was yelling so loudly and aggressively that the front staff actually came over to apologize for how he was speaking to us. It was uncomfortable, chaotic, and downright unprofessional. There are too many good local spots to waste your time (or money) being treated like an inconvenience. I will absolutely never be back. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Takeaway Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20

I’m very sorry for this misunderstanding. It wasn’t the size of your food order, but rather the content being Grilled sandwiches take longer than simple bagels and pretzels which is why your food took longer than others. When we have 5 cruise ships in all at once and trying to handle the amount of people in our little shop we do the best we can to keep up and please everyone. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service and top quality coffee along with speedy service. We sincerely apologize if you felt the rudeness was directed towards you and not knowing that we were also dealing with 2 people shoplifting at the same time and were a little stressed.I hope you enjoyed the rest of your day.
