Order cod and chips today but they taste like old oil and was full of oil the paper was oily and bag it came in was stuck to the fish cod of the oil the chips tasted like they been sitting around steaming curry sauce i had one pot was so thick couldnt pour it out just came out in one lump. the price for 2 cod and chips at £28 and only getting binned is a waste of my money. I normally love this place and it’s chips but they taste like old oil that’s twice now in last few weeks . Fish was ok but even then I found 20 odd bones in a medium piece and in 10 years I don’t think I’ve ever found one from this place all in all not great shame Price per person: £10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

When my son visits us from Wimbledon he always wants fish and chips from Martellas as there is nowhere near him that he can get fish and chips as good . I must agree with him. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
