The Mast Farm Inn and Heritage Hill is a FANTASTIC place to stay. It has all the modern amenities one would expect with a fantastic dose of historic significance. The oldest inhabitable cabin in NC, Howie the Donkey, Sauna, absolutely incredible. The event space is huge and plenty of fun lodging options. From a historic lodge that feels like you're in the 1800s to modern log cabin style houses. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

If I could give higher star rating I would !!! My husband and I were driving the Blue Ridge Parkway. On the spur of the moment we decided to stop near Boone NC. I started reading reviews and after reading the great reviews of Mast Farm Inn we decided to stay there and made reservations online. The reviews did not disappoint. Allison the manager greeted us and upgraded us. Offered us any room or the 1828 cabin adjacent the Inn. While all the rooms were beautiful we chose the cabin. What a cool experience. Fireplace. Huge bathtub. Comfy king bed and linens. We will definitely come back. Allison and Savannah and the owner ( sorry his name escapes me ) went above and beyond with their hospitality. We loved our stay at The Mast Inn. The Granary was such a cozy place to relax with our group of 4. The cabin is so old and yet fitted with modern day conveniences except cable tv. We were able to connect to the Guest WiFi with no problem. The bedding was very soft and loved the peaceful view of the mountains and horse pasture out back. Of course the donkey and goats on the front pen was a real treat for me wife. The location offers such a convenient drive to Boone and the community and quick access to the Watauga River did not go unnoticed. Would highly recommend this place. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
