Highly recommended! Everything we ate was delicious, especially the pork and homemade sausage. Both are made in the wood-fired oven and have an amazing smoky flavor! The atmosphere is super cozy and rustic. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly. They accidentally left our second round of drinks off the bill, and even though we insisted on paying, they generously gave them to us on the house! Amazing food and top-notch customer service. Mastrapas was undoubtedly one of the restaurants we enjoyed the most during our stay in Chania – so much so that we went back for a second meal! Excellent cuisine, truly delicious local dishes and a pleasant, authentic atmosphere. We had a brilliant time on both occasions, thanks to both the quality of the food and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. When you’re on holiday and have so many new places to try, yet you still decide to go back to the same restaurant, I think that says it all! Highly recommended, and it’ll definitely be a regular stop whenever we return to Chania. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner
