Unfortunate experience. First I want to say the staff at Matsu was amazing and this review is in no way a reflection of their work. My husband and I decided to visit Matsu for our wedding anniversary and left hungry and disappointed. Usually during these 10 course tastings I’m left in awe and can’t wait to get to the next course. Unfortunately with Matsu this was not the case. There are plenty of other 1 star reviews that describe it perfectly so I won’t drag this review on but for the way Matsu presents itself it really feels like someone was just trying to be creative in the kitchen and didn’t pay attention to taste of balance. I was left with a strange taste in my mouth for many of the courses and the desert at the end I couldn’t even finish. I would say save your money. One thing about fine dining that I love is the beautiful attention to detail that I feel was lost by Matsu. Dirty cutlery, lukewarm dishes, and clanking and banging from the bar. All in all, I would recommend against choosing Matsu for your next meal. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Everything about our experience was amazing! We did the 10 course tasting menu and amazing! Every dish was a new flavor that I've not had before. It was hard to pick a favorite, because everything so absolutely was delicious! I was a bit apprehensive about going because I am very picky. I could eat chicken nuggets and tacos every single night, so this was definitely something different for me. The manager and wait staff were very friendly and attentive. We definitely can not wait to go back! Price per person: $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
