We used to love Matt's, every week we were promised customers. However, within the last probably 6 months, the food has been really lacking, serving sizes are disappointing considering the price, and it never fails that I'm having to beg for more ranch and/or I’m having to drive back to the restaurant because something was forgotten to be put in our bag. Every time! Most of us have sworn off Matt's Place because of the decline in quality, but I want them to up their game so bad! Grove cannot afford to have another restaurant get added to their "mid" list. Please Matt's Place, read this review and re-discover your customer service! We miss the old you! Your customers are begging for 2 major things - 1. Better serving sizes - don't just give me 12 French fries, it's insulting when I pay $20 for a chicken strip basket. This is a legitimate scenario, I genuinely had 12 French fries last time I ordered - and yes, I counted them. 2. Fully cooked chicken - too many times my tenders have not been cooked fully, leaving them chewey and inedible! Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Very nice! Love the hometown atmosphere. May was just the best person to wait on us. Food was great and service made you feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend and go there again. Thank you !

Shout Out to Colton & crew on Saturday evening, 10/8! Despite being extremely busy they took extra care to make sure my meal was allergy safe! We're from Arkansas & went to the Pelican Festival with friends & stopped for dinner. I have Alpha-gal Syndrome & am highly allergic to anything mammal including cross contamination. They made sure my catfish dinner & sides were safe and I had no allergic reactions. Thank you & Kudos! We'll definitely visit again!
