I feel like this place is a hidden gem of Utica. I am in the area for a few days on a project for work. I stopped today for lunch and started searching the area for restaurants and wanted something different and saw the reviews. This place is amazing! May couldn't be sweeter or more welcoming, and the food is outstanding! You absolutely must try her mac and cheese and her Haitian black rice. She is good people and you almost feel like you are walking into someone's home and being invited for dinner instead of going into a restaurant. What a local culinary gem! May's kitchen showcases the delicious flavors of Haitian cuisine. I brought home four different entree plates for the family and even my picky kids were loving it!
