Will preface this by saying I never leave reviews but my experience at this McDonalds was so poor that I can’t not. Walked inside some time after midnight on a Sunday night and the only other people waiting were two ambulance crews. We were all waiting so long, about 15-20 minutes, that one crew only just managed to grab their food, one of which was just a single hot drink and fries, before they had to run out to take a job and they ate on the run back to the ambulance. All this while there were delivery drivers getting their orders no problem. When the ambulance crews finally got their food, the staff member offered a single ‘sorry’. When we finally got our food with no apology or explanation as to why it took so long, it was stone cold, the drinks weren’t fully filled, fries were barely cooked and one of the burgers was made incorrectly. I went back to the counter and said ‘Sorry, we asked for no cheese on this one’ and the member of staff silently took it, disappeared for 2 minutes, then silently gave back a fresh one that was only marginally warmer but at least it was correct. Not sure if standards are any better during the day but definitely avoid this place at night. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £1–10 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Got a delivery. Absolutely appalled with the hygiene. Somehow there was a HAIR in my cheeseburger. Like actually inside the bun wrapped within the cheese. Staff should really take precautions when working around food. Clearly don’t wear hair nets. Was nearly sick. Won’t be eating from here again. Would rather go to another branch. Meal type: Dinner Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This McDonald's is questionable at the best of times, but visiting at night is like stepping foot on to a scene from the Cabin in the Woods. I visited through the drive-thru. There is no urgency in service, like the staff have all accepted our fate of death, so why provide even average customer service at this point. There appeared to be only two members of staff trying to manage the restaurant and drive-thru though, so props to them for trying to split themselves in two to do it all. Then a shift/floor manager returned from her break (I know this because she announced "I'm back" twice) as she rubbed her snotty nose in her sleeve and then proceeded to help with making drinks. I was given a Sakura Sprite they just made in my view but added very little Sakura syrup last minute so when it was given to me, I tasted it, and the member of staff offered to make another for me as he knew I'd just witnessed it be poorly made in the first place. As he made me a new drink, I watched the staff take my OLD drink and place it in a 4-cup holder with another soda and a fruit shoot and take it out to the restaurant area to give to a customer! I could not believe my eyes although I shouldn't be surprised as I have also witnessed a previous female shift/floor manager eat fries out of customer's bags as she was packing them and we all know this McDonald's has the worst hygiene rating across the city. Anyway by the time I received my food and drinks I had been sat at the drive-thru window at the front of the queue for 15 minutes... cold fries, a miserable burger, and no-assed service (saying half-assed feels like a generous compliment at this point!). No receipt either so no opportunity to take this up with McD's for them to redeem themselves. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
