I am writing to report a very disappointing and unprofessional experience I had today while picking up a DoorDash order at your Walnut Ridge, AR location. At approximately 9:20-9:25 AM, I was instructed by staff to pull forward to the window to receive the order. The employee handed me a bag that turned out to be someone else’s order. Once I realized the mistake, I calmly waved to get her attention. When she opened the window, she did so with a visibly aggravated attitude. I politely explained, “I think this is the wrong person’s order. I’m a Dasher picking up a DoorDash order for [Customer Name].” She scoffed, snatched the bag back from my hands, and responded in a condescending tone: “Well you shoulda told me you’re a DoorDasher??” She then threw the correct order at me without making eye contact or offering any apology or acknowledgment. No other staff members intervened or addressed her behavior. As a delivery driver trying to provide good service to your mutual customer, I was treated with clear disrespect and rudeness. I understand mistakes happen with orders, but the way this employee spoke to and handled me was completely unnecessary and reflects poorly on your brand. DoorDash drivers and customers both deserve to be treated with basic courtesy and professionalism. I would appreciate it if McDonald’s would: Review the security camera footage from this time Address this employee’s behavior with proper training or corrective action Ensure future interactions with delivery drivers are more respectful Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint. I hope this issue will be handled so other drivers and customers don’t experience the same treatment. Corporate has been contacted of this as well.
