This eatery also offers daily specials, including shrimp and grits (I am not generally a seafood person, but I found the latter to be one of the best things I've had there) as well as tacos, plus some not-so-typical embellishments such as beer, wine and what look to be better than average desserts (including a bacon cheesecake.)

Foodies for Meat and Protein Packed. I checked out The MEATBar after some online advertising and a live television shot. Despite it is a limited menu, youu get your choice of Meat, and other fixings in the bowl like Short Rib with Mashed Potatoes, Macaroni and Cheese, and Green Beans in one bowl. It was delicious and nice to mix it up. They have Pork Belly, Ahi Tuna, Beef Cheek, Duck, Chicken, and the vegan's friend Tofu and Sauteed Vegetables with Mashed Potatoes, Mac & Cheese, Spaetzle Noodle, Basmati Rice, Quinoa, and Local Greens (Salad). The service was very nice. It was the French place and seafood place Fin, the owners hit a home run on this one. I will be back to try the Pork Belly and Chicken at a different time. Despite they are only open at lunch until 2:30 p.m., but can open some evenings if there is an event at the Ohio Theatre and Columbus Commons areas. If you love meat, this is the place to go for your protein fix.
