Wish i can give lower than 1 star. Ordered through Uber Eats for $29.90 but received the wrong order. When I called the restaurant, there was no apology and I was simply told to cancel it through UberEats. To make matters worse, I found a sharp piece of plastic in the food. Very disappointing experience and a serious food safety concern. Food: 1 Service: 1

I've been to this little family run restaurant a few times now as I really enjoy their Vegan options and the relaxed atmosphere. Mekong Restaurant serve cuisine from the Hai Phong region of Vietnam, so the flavours are a little different to most other Vietnamese restaurants in Tasmania, different but just as good. My favourite dish here is the Spicy Braised Tofu, it is perfect comfort food. My friends enjoyed the Tofu and vegetable hot pot and my carnivore friend enjoyed the Beef Pho. We will be back :) Price per person: A$20–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Good vegan and vegetarian options and the staff are very switched on about what we can and can't eat. Very flexible with most dishes where they can.
