What an incredible Tuscan inspired getaway just an hour away from the city! We went twice this week, once for my husband’s birthday on the 26th of May and then again over the weekend for their stay and dine package. We were blown away both times by the hospitality and friendliness of staff especially Scott and Annalise of the brewery. We sampled the flight of napoleone ciders on tap which we highly recommend! Additionally the waitstaff at the Meletos Cafe ensured we had plenty of vegan and gluten free options available in our 3 course dinner menu; the highlights for me were the vodka sauce cavatelli, beetroot dip with crackers, an amuse bouche version of cherry relish and whipped ricotta on toast, their spiced Negroni (oooof probably the best Negroni in all of Australia) and their gelatos (we tried the chocolate as well as lemon sorbet). 5 stars all around!!! Can’t wait to be back. Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Even if not abundantly listed on the menu, the Maitre’d will coordinate with the chef to make many of the items vegetarian friendly Dietary restrictions: Several options were made available to us as a vegan couple, my husband is also gluten free which they accommodated readily

What a wonderful night we had staying in the Farmhouse at Meletos celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted with friendliness and the accommodation is charming. We felt like we were transported back in time. Our dinner in Meletos restaurant was outstanding as was the service, staff are so friendly and accommodating. Our room was lovely and comfortable and toasty warm after a cold day out on the road. What a view! Out over the Yarra Valley and the vineyards and fruit trees for the cidery. And then to top off our stay a delicious breakfast back in the restaurant watching the sun peak through the clouds enjoying hot coffee and croissants. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We look forward to coming back. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I am writing to express my (Our) disappointment with the reservation service that handled my booking. Despite my requests, they failed to take them seriously, and the meals were a letdown, lacking flavour. I had booked a table to celebrate a significant milestone, our 32nd wedding anniversary, and our sister's 60th birthday, and specifically requested a window table. Unfortunately, we were seated in a less desirable location, right in front of the restroom entrance. The foods was also disappointing; - pork chop being tasteless and undercooked. - lamb rib being too salty and fatty. - market fish being unavailable. - linguini with Moreton Bay bug very average. - spatchcock tasted just like "charcoal chicken" but tasting better than the other dishes. This experience was our first and last visit to Meletos. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$200+ Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
