I was there last night with my kids and I was very disappointed. I have been many times before and we have all enjoyed it. Last night I found that it was extremely expensive for what we had and the frozen yogurt did not taste good. My little guy didn't even eat it and said it was yucky. (We only put a couple of toppings on so it has nothing to do with topping choices.) I was sadly disappointed and don't think I will be back.

We've been here a few times and it seems to be more popular every time we visit. The concept behind Menchie's is your typical frozen yogurt shop where your creation is sold by weight. It's a little pricey if you take the going rate for grocery frozen yogurt into consideration, but it's probably just best to put that out of your mind when you feel like DIYing some dessert. There are about three or four tables inside, but they've been full most of the time we visited. They also have a few tables on the patio during summer months, but it's a small space so it still feels pretty crowded. The location is also a bit out of the way (across from the Stone Road Mall near Pizza Hut) but we have a car so it isn't a problem for us. Unlike some froyo places I've been to, they list basic nutrition information and any allergens on the yogurt descriptions (awesome). They have a few standby flavors (chocolate, vanilla, cake batter, etc.) and the rest alternate seasonally. I've had the Nutella (seasonal) and it was great but didn't last long, and some of the newer flavors (Reese's PB cup and Key Lime) are welcome additions to the lineup as well. One of the things I love about this location is that they keep the sample cups out on the counter, so you don't have to beg the staff each time you want to try a flavor. If you're a froyo fan looking for a wide variety of toppings, Menchie's is the place for you. The toppings selections are well organized and labeled, and the staff does a good job of making sure they're filled and that the area is clean. Overall, this is a great spot for frozen yogurt and we'll definitely be back!
