We had an absolutely outstanding dining experience at Metita. We chose the vegetarian menu, and every single course was a true explosion of flavours. The creativity, balance, and quality of the ingredients were exceptional, making this one of the best vegetarian tasting menus we've ever had. What made the evening truly unforgettable, however, was Kahu. She provided some of the warmest, most attentive, and genuinely caring service we've experienced in a long time. She anticipated every detail, made us feel incredibly welcome, and elevated an already amazing meal into something truly special. People like Kahu are what make a restaurant stand out. Thank you to the entire team for such a memorable evening. We will definitely be back and can't wait to experience Metita again. Highly recommended! This is the second time we have been to this restaurant. The food is exceptional, like really interesting flavours, everything feels perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients with all the right flavour combinations together. We ordered the sour dough bread (don't miss this) the lamb pie (snack) pork hock, the duck, the tomato and feta salad for a side. All excellent and very tasty. For desert we got the coconut bun, with banana sorbet and the Chocolate mousse desert (the first two on the menu).... Soooo good! The service was also excellent, all the stuff were friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu (definitely worth them going through the menu with you). Food came relatively quickly. Great atmosphere with a high-end fitout - feels properly flash (in a tasteful way). Highly recommend this place! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went to dinner here while staying at The Grand and was pleasantly surprised by the portion size of the dishes. I personally got the pork hock and while I’m not the biggest fan of pork I really liked this restaurants way of cooking the dish. The peanuts on top paired very nicely and the vermicelli salad was a good refresher for the fattiness of the pork and which I may add was such a good portion I couldn’t finish it all! Other people at the table got the salmon and the lamb which they said was very nice and filling as well. The sides were got were the kale which was nice and creamy and the carrots which was okay with the thick dip but by itself tastes too much like curry powder or cinnamon? Wasn’t too sure but it was still pretty good overall. But the best thing that night was our waiter! He was very attentive and explained every dish carefully but unfortunately didn’t catch his name :) Shout out to you ~ Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
