Our final night in Rhodes Old Town turned into something truly special thanks to Mezzaluna. After mooching around the souvenir shops, our family of nine agreed unanimously that this was the best meal we’ve had since arriving on the island. The moment you walk in, the décor hits you with vibrant colour and character. But once the sun goes down, the whole place transforms. The lighting, the atmosphere, the music, it becomes magical, easily outshining anywhere else we’ve visited in the Old Town. The menu catered perfectly to everyone, including our two little ones (aged 2 and 3). Appetisers were generous and full of flavour, but the standout dish for me was the 700g pan‑fried-in-butter pork tomahawk with roasted vegetables and potatoes. Rich, tender, and cooked to perfection. My wife’s vegetable moussaka was, in her words, the best she’s had since we arrived in Greece. Dessert took things to another level. The pistachio crème brûlée, caramelised right in front of us, added a brilliant bit of theatre and tasted even better than it looked. What truly elevates Mezzaluna, though, is the staff. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, as they made us feel like the whole evening was crafted around giving our family the best dining experience possible. Portion sizes were excellent, prices were fair, and the overall vibe was exactly what you want on your last night of a holiday. If you’re visiting Rhodes Old Town, save Mezzaluna for your final evening. Otherwise, every other restaurant will struggle to measure up. We’ll definitely be returning. One of the best meals I’ve ever had . Started with zucchini carpaccio and then followed with red snapper risotto . Both were so good I had to try dessert. Pistachio crème brûlée , two of my favorite foods combined so what could go wrong ? Nothing at all as it happens. It was perfect and brûléed right in front of me at my table . It’s rare to get three excellent and imaginative courses - so thanks very much Mezzaluna ! Highly recommend. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €50+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
